Perhaps it's time we started voting unless anyone else wants to submit a proposal.

Quote from: Navel Tactic;Clear landing site
As part of our plans we will need to land marines on a defended enemy spire, to defende our guys we revise the strife tactic to support the landing, first a less defended landing site will be chosen, after that the fleet will focus his fire power on defenses near the site, when it is safe enough the dinghies will be released and the fleet will return to strifing tactic

Tactic Revision: Clear landing site
This is essentially a focused version of strafe infrastructure. Instead of hitting all the spire evenly, the ships will clear defenses in all sight lines around a particular landing zone. Once the area is safe, the transport(s) will deliver their marines and the ships return to a regular strafing pattern.

I would like to have more than two people voting before I run revisions, but I'll take it if nothing else comes up.

Also, can someone please fix things so that your tactic doesn't pertain to belly-button invasions?

Bockade Running
Efficacy: 2

The approach strategies created for blockade running aren't the most effective during mock-up runs. They're better than nothing, but it seems likely that if the Kasgyrite fleet is going to employ this measure in the near future, high casualties should be expected against Spire guns and defensing forces. Still, high casualties is a superior mission outcome compared to total mission failure.

Clear Landing Site
Efficacy: 4+1

Basically a tightened version of our typical strafing patterns, when warships and transports are assigned to this tactic, the warships will attempt to both attract fire from the guns of the landing site and to eliminate offensive gunnery positions. It likely won't be successful in destroying every position, but it should dramatically increase the chance for the transports to make a safe landing, and for the marines to meet limited resistance. When assigned to a transport, this tactic does not use up their tactic slot.

Spire Kasgyre's Production stands at
13(+10)/y Crystal, 13/115 Banked
17/y Ore, 16/85 banked
19/y Wood, 17/95 banked
10/y Silk, 23/50 banked

It is now the production, deployment, and tactics phase.

Quote from: deployment plan: Reckless charge
RKNV Anguis II returns to Kasgyr (50% chance to fire on friendlies in combat? No thank you)
All ships still at UF move to Spire Wreth and use clear landing site.
Transports at Wreth land troops.
Skyskiff One-eyed Will moves from Burned Mountain to Three Captains and uses Scouting.
Natalie XI remains on station at Blackstone and continues scouting.
Ships at Kasgyr use Coordinated fire
All marines use Bait and strike

And for those who wish to feed the creature at UF even though I disagree with it, here's a plan that will provide it our men without disrupting our current plans.
Quote from: deployment plan: Feed the beast
RKNV Anguis II returns to Kasgyr
All ships still at UF move to Spire Wreth and use clear landing site.
Transports at Wreth land troops.
Skyskiff One-eyed Will moves from Burned Mountain to Three Captains and uses Scouting.
Natalie XI remains on station at Blackstone and continues scouting.
Ocker loads three unarmed squads and moves to UF to unload.
Ships at Kasgyr use Coordinated fire
All marines use Bait and strike

Quote from: Purchase Plan: Stockpile resources
1x Topaz Lance Cannon
2x Topaz Aetheric Pistol (standard aetheric pistols risk injuring the user due to heat. I shudder to think what this will do to the poor soul who fires it)
2x Hanging Crystal Gardens at Hive (hive is the obvious choice as it's least likely to be visited by attacking Wreth.)
13c 8o 6w 4s spent
0c 8o 11w 19s remaining

Refit RKNV Viperidea: Remove 1 LAC frome front and replace with Topaz Lance cannon
We need to buy more hanging crystal vats. The imperial topaz stuff is great but it leaves us with fewer crystals to use elsewhere.

Edits: Completely redid purchase plan to stockpile resources for spending on medium docks (the sooner we get those the better). Also added marine tactics.

For those who feel pulling back to Kasgyre before removing the Wrethi fleet for our airspace is a better decision than a suicide run on their homespire:

Quote from: Suffer not the Wrethi Presence
Dionysis sells its marines to the Master
All ships at UF return to Kasgyre
Ships at Kasgyre use Coordinated Fire

Skiffs at Blackstone and Burned Mountain scout

All Marines use Bait and Strike

Purchase:
2x Topaz Aether Pistols (2c, 2o, 2w)
1x Topaz Lance Cannon (7c, 2o)
2x Hanging Crystal Garden @ The Hive (4c, 4o, 4w, 4s)
6x Reams of Webbing (12s)
2x Copper Armour Sections (6o)

Total cost: 13c, 14o, 6w, 16s

Fit the Anguis Hull with the following and rename it "Booidae"
Topaz Med Core
Topaz Trim Webs x2
Trim Webs x8
Topaz Trim Crystals x4
Topaz Vanguard x1
Topaz Lance x1 (Front)
Kettleguns x7
Webbing x6
Copper Armour x2

I'm a bit confused by the wording on this. The tactic is to run resources out from a friendly spire past an enemy fleet, right?

Also, do note that if we want to put dice into the medium docks (we should) we need to save some resources.
