We are ready to go this year and have very little to gain by waiting.

Buy 1 topaz trim web and put it in storage. We can give it to the Anguis later without paying any refit cost.
Buy 4 topaz gauntlets and give them to Royal Heavy Squad. Take 4 gauntlets from Royal Heavy Squad and give them to Marine Unit 6.
Buy 4 aether gauntlets and give them to Marine Unit 3.
Buy 1 mobile cover.
Train 6 comm officers. Give 5 of them to our remaining skiffs to help with coordinating fire. Give a comm officer to Mercury.
Buy 2 units of spare grenades.
Buy 8 aethersilk vests.

Load royal heavy squad, sniper squad, prototype mobile cover, 2u of grenades, and a crate of medals onto the Mercury.
Load marine units 3 and 6, and a mobile cover, and 12 aethersilk vests onto the Artemis.
Giving the slightly better transport more valuable cargo but still not putting all our eggs in one basket.

Send the entire fleet to Three Captains.
The skyskiff "One-Eyed Will" will act as our scout and fire coordinator.
Royal Anguis, Ophidian, Natalie, and 5 normal skiffs will use our new aerial ambush + coordinated fire fleet tactics.

Mercury and Artemis dock and unload their troops and cargo.
Give the remaining defenders at TC some grenades, 2 per person (since there are 2 squads worth of grenades being given to 2 half squads).
Give the members of marine unit 1b and heavies without aethersilk vests an aethersilk vest. Should be about 12 vests.
Also give every defender a medal.

Royal Heavy squad will lead the advance and try to take most of the fire with 2 mobile covers.
The rest of the marines will follow behind taking advantage of the mobile cover's shroud or existing natural cover and providing as much covering fire as possible.
Everyone use defensive fire tactics. The main goal is to get close enough to throw some grenades and destroy their cannons.

+1 to everything NAV said, except, we should use our combined tactics. It's only a marginal reduction in coordination, and the ambush is sooo worth it. It's our peak naval tactic!

Yeah, I guess. The revision was somewhat successful and ambushing has helped us so far even when not ideal ambushing scenario. Changing the plan.
Also adding giving a few aethersilk vests to TC defenders.

I'd be inclined to put that final comms officer on one of the transports. Whilst they aren't combat capable, having a larger comms net is always good.
