Kingdom of Denmark and Iceland, Czechoslovak Republic, Kingdom of Sweden and Kingdom of Yugoslavia and the Greeks declare themselves neutral and do not wish to involve themselves with other nations at the moment.

The Italian Ambassador kindly reminds the other diplomats that even in times of war there is always time for wine and peaceful chat. He would also like to point out that as long as neither France nor Germany invade Switzerland neither shall Italy.

The glorious nation of Turkey would like to extend a research deal to any country that wants one. Our nation promises not to attack anyone that they have a research deal with, effectively making it a one-way non-aggression pact. Note that we will NOT join our research partners' wars without a proper defensive alliance; this is both to preserve peace and to ensure that we can spread our love of science to both sides of any wars that break out.

Turkey, it makes sense that we (the United Kingdom and Turkey) share a research alliance, for we are too far away to conveniently war at each other, or really to defend each other. Far better to improve the quality of life of our subjects, no?

Whoa there, President Fake News! FOUR armies per two lands!! That's a VERY suspicious concentration of armed might! Also who knows what kind of madman could take over in a Republic.

Anyway. Let us forget this uncalled-for aggression. The United Kingdom is willing to engage in discussions with any other country about pacts of non-aggression, hopefully leading to peaceful and profitable research exchange. We are a peace loving country, interested only in trade and exploiting third world countries. If we can stay hiding behind the English Channel we'll be very happy.

We'll be happy to accept the Turkish offer if this happiness is mutual.

France is pleased to hear this, and offers Spain a Defensive Alliance, a military pact where both parties promise to defend the other against aggressive military action, without the obligation to join in on any aggressive military activity.

King La of Great Britain would like to formally apologise to Czechoslovakia for our diplomat's idiocy: we wish only peaceful and cordial relationships with all countries (except those aggressing us) and regret our previous misunderstanding. We are sorry.
