Overseer clears her throat. Loudly. "If you would all kindly stop talking during an assembly, it would be appreciated."

"Okay! Sorry!"

 "Are there any actual firearms to be concerned with?"

[mcclay]

Bethany flushes red with embrassment and shuts the heck up. "Wh-Whoops."

[Adragis]

"Are there any actual firearms to be concerned with?"

"Rarely. Occasionally students have abnormalities which involve firearms, or the summoning of such. As far as I can remember, there are none of that nature here this year."

Stella fidgets, waiting on the orientation, as she dares not speak again unless asked a question just yet

Vijaya nods and puts their hand back in their lap.

She nods, again. "This is why one of the prime directives of the school is learning control. Not only control of your power consciously, but how to control yourself as a person. It seems that won't be quite as much of a problem, though, this year."

Bethany waits for this sillily long assembly to be over

[Adragis]

Bethany has evidently never been to a school assembly in her life. It could be worse.

As the audience is likely too disinterested to interact much, the Overseer gives the whole 'this is a place of learning' spiel and all the various directions to places.

"You all get to look around et cetera tomorrow. I'm relieved to say I didn't forget anything."

Louis heads for the dorms/equivalent to check out his new sleeping arrangements and to drop off his meager belongings.

[SOLDIER First]

Armis hops out of his seat and approaches the Overseer.

"Hi, I have another question."

[Adragis]

"Yes, Armis?"

Bethany hops out of her seat and happily skips to go look at the dorms.
"Oh man, I hope my roommate is like, someone super like, cool!"

[SOLDIER First]

"Is there a place I can fight? I want to learn how to fight really well. So I can beat up the people who killed the person that made me, assuming they didn't die to make me in the first place.

Oh, I lied! I have another question again!"
