Louis silently looks at Jacket and Auburn-Hair (apparently named Mei) interacting from his seat, until he speaks up to the room as a whole:

"So uh, I didn't catch most of your names. Could we do a sorta...*cough*...round of introductions? I'm Louis Hollows."

[SOLDIER First]

Armis rolls around near Louis.

"Of course you didn't catch anyone's names. Nobody threw them."

Andrea, instead of going for the biscuits (/cookies), tests if the coffee maker's working. On the assumption it is (and is not in fact broken like 80% of lounge coffee makers), starts it going on some coffee.

A girl with flowing, deep blue hair and equally blue eyes is abusing the coffee machine for all it's worth, albeit for what seems to be hot chocolate rather than actual coffee.

At the moment, blue-hair girl is waiting for it to finish making her hot chocolate. Again.

The guy called Coda takes one more biscuit and then takes a seat.

"Spelled like the musical symbol? Alright."

"I was told to introduce myself as Vijaya." They had been more or less following along with the group quietly to this point, observing their surroundings.

[SOLDIER First]

Armis rolls around near Louis.

"Of course you didn't catch anyone's names. Nobody threw them."

"Oh! If we're introducing ourselves, I'm Mei!"

Louis assumed this to be a joke, and didn't respond aside from a little glance.

[SOLDIER First]

"I don't have a name, I'm Armis."

"I'm Dale, and I'm not sure how you could confuse that unless you're doing the whole "not understanding slang" on purpose."
Dale looks at Armis pointedly.

[SOLDIER First]

"I understand slang and I'm not confusing anything. I don't have a name, I am Armis Palantes. Like this chair is a chair, and the floor is a floor, and you are Dale."

Armis lazily wheels the chair in a circle around Dale.

"A name is just something you're called. It's not who you are."

Louis tilts his head at that.

"That's...an interesting philosophy. But...what if there's someone who, uh, who's exactly like you, but who says...*cough*...says they are 'Parmis Alantes' or something like that? Is that just a...*cough*...a name if you could say they're the same as you in all other ways?"

[SOLDIER First]

"Well, yeah. That would be just a name. But only because everything else about them was totally like me."

"What if they said that 'Armis Palantes' is just a...*cough*..just a name?"
