Mei also goes to try some biscuits, her gaze shifting to the guy in the black jacket.

Noticing he is being stared at, the guy in the black jacket turns to Mei.
"...Can I help you?"

Mei tilts her head. She starts prodding him lightly, as if trying to figure something out.
"Hm...."

He flinches in response to Mei's poking and prodding, waving his hand around in an attempt to deflect hers.
"H-hey, cut that out!"

[IamanElfCollaborator]

Mei seems to be moving slightly fast enough to avoid being deflected.
"Hm.....you smell like a demon. Are you a demon?"

The jacketed individual still flinches at each prod.
"N-no, not- ...Sort of."

Mei stops prodding, tilting her head.
"Huh. Cool. Never met a demon before. You look nice for one. All the TV shows make you guys look like big red bull-guys with flames and smoke everywhere. Oh! I forgot! My name's Mei! Mei Zhou! Nice to meet'cha!"

"Well, Mei Zhou, I would appreciate it, if you would not poke me again."

If Mei's miffed by his lack of introduction, she doesn't show it.
"Well, I kinda had to test it, you know?"

He raises one eyebrow, confused.
"I... Really don't. Test what?"

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"If you had, like, illusions up that I couldn't see through or anything."

[ironsnake345]

"Well, I don't. Demon blood notwithstanding, this is how I really look. Are we done here?"

Andrea, instead of going for the biscuits (/cookies), tests if the coffee maker's working. On the assumption it is (and is not in fact broken like 80% of lounge coffee makers), starts it going on some coffee.

A girl with flowing, deep blue hair and equally blue eyes is abusing the coffee machine for all it's worth, albeit for what seems to be hot chocolate rather than actual coffee.
