Louis takes a few steps back as Armis turns to look at him. He instinctively raises his arms to guard his face.

"Gah! I'm sorry! I just...*cough*...just curious about what you're talking about..."

[SOLDIER First]

This unnamed person cocks their head.

"Why are you scared? Is it something I said?"

"I just..."

Louis slowly lowers his guard.

"Ah, nevermind. I, uh, I'm Louis."

[SOLDIER First]

"Hi, Louis. My name is Armis."

Armis pats Louis on the head with what looks quite a lot like a steel gauntlet coming from their cloak. It... hurts.

"You don't have to be scared of me, you know. Even if a lot of people are. I'm nice."

Louis holds his head in mild pain, but tries to disguise it as merely scratching his head in thought.

"I'll...*cough*...take your word for that. What was it about superior offensives and defensives anyway?"

[SOLDIER First]

"I don't really know. They were saying most of it. Right?" Armis finishes, addressing Vijaya.

[Chevaleresse]

"Yes. To answer your question, I am capable of continued operation even while critically damaged - such as if one or both of my arms were removed. At least, according to the engineers." A vaguely uncomfortable look flits across their expression for a moment. "And yes, this unit was designed to operate in all situations that would involve a human soldier and more with superior durability and power."

Dale shuffles around as constructs discuss their origin. He wonders if Uncle Johnson hand anything to do with them. Dude was pretty much a mad scientist.

Mei looks curiously on at the two constructs. She starts poking at Vijaya curiously.
"You're a robot?"

"So uh, why are we still standing here? They told us to come here at eight-o'-clock, didn't they?"

"A synthetic human. Robots can only act according to preprogrammed directives."

Dale says with a shrug.
