"It's locked one way - so you can leave at any time - and I think you'll find I'm never too busy to accompany people."

[SOLDIER First]

"That's good."

They examine the now-opening rift in the gate.

". . .Would it be bad if I touched that right now?"

[Adragis]

"Hmm... I think it would be, yes. But the rings are spinning too quickly to get to it, so I don't think you should try at any rate."
She looks thoughtful.

[SOLDIER First]

Armis seems slightly disappointed (well, the tops of their eyes flatten in a somewhat disappointed-looking expression) but doesn't otherwise comment.

"Is the creepy part over yet?"

[SOLDIER First]

"Yeah, she cut her hand off already. You should see the gate now, it's awesome!"

Louis tentatively turns around to look at the gate.

"Huh, that's fancy."

[Adragis]

Almost immediately after he says that, there is a flash, and the rings stop. Through the central ring those assembled can see a fairly impressive-looking set of wooden double doors.
"That's the school entrance. Saves us from needing to walk up to the entrance,
 and all."

"It's a bit much though, isn't it? I mean, if you just want to keep no-majs oit you could just put an SEP field up so they bugger off on their own. And I would hope that we have good enough therapy and security that any inside threats would be rendered null before they happen."

[SOLDIER First]

"Don't be so negative. This place is great!"

Mei looks utterly bewildered and awed by the magic.
"Eh? So that's how nobody else sees the place.....huh."

Louis stands still for a moment, apparently connecting some dots, based on the thoughtful look on his face.

"I think there are magical outside threats, Nice-Hat. We were checked to make sure we were...*cough*...ourselves, right? So there must be a way to appear as someone you aren't, and someone who would do that but whom the...*cough*...the school doesn't want inside."

[Adragis]

"Oh, I do love the conspiracy theories. Now, reasons aside, can we just get through the gate already?"

[IcyTea31]

"Fine, alright."

Louis calmly moves to step through the portal.

[Adragis]

It feels no different to stepping through a door a foot or so off the ground, albeit more magical.
