On Febuary 19, 2023, nearly every computer connected to the internet became unresponsive. Hours later, radio signals were jammed worldwide. In short order, the only long ranged communication possible was by direct courier. Anarchy followed worldwide.
By 2025, despite the struggles of rapidly fading militaries to keep order, most humans were dead. The Computer appears to have done little, but jamming continues, and any modern computer remains unusable.
