Yeah, it all went to hell. I don't even know where the others are, we had to scatter so fast.

Attempt to use my powers to influence his thoughts to trust me.

Get up, watch the upcoming discussion carefully and stealthily.

You get down from your comfy rafters and basically shadow that other nameless guy on his patrol. It's easy.

Yeah, it all went to hell. I don't even know where the others are, we had to scatter so fast.

You don't really have such powers. Or if you do, you don't have enough power.

"What do you mean? Rest of the group reported they got you inside just fine." The big man looks you suspiciously for a moment before conjuring a small glass sphere from his pocket. Granted, it only looks small in his huge hands. The sphere is half full of water with a needle floating in it, pointing you. He moves it around a bit, but the needle keeps pointing at you. He grunts unsatisfied and puts it away.

"Whatever. Please tell me you got at least something out of the mess?"

[shadow=right, red]Anything we got went with the others, I was running distraction while they got out.[/shadow]

See if I can access the previous person who controlled this body's memory, specifically for what this man is talking about.

This could end badly :P

Unfortunately you have no access to memories of your host. You would probably need some sort of necromantic spell to dig for those.

The man squints at you suspiciously and you have a creeping feeling you messed up something. He gets out of the car in a fluid motion that belies his large frame and gets on your face. He completely dwarves you. Not that he's actually that big, only few centimeters taller, but his shoulders are at least twice as wide as yours. Combined with his long arms and legs like tree trunks he gives threatening impression of being defiant steel fortress.

Faster than you can see his large fist takes firm hold of your skull and effortlessly lifts you up into air. Once again he produces the glass sphere from his pocket and moves it and you around in wide angle. The needle in the spere clearly points at you until for a brief moment it's closer for the hairly little thing your nameless sibling is possessing. At this point it instantaneously starts pointing him instead, which leads the large man (and you) noticing him.

"A hob? The hell? There's two of you now?"

Once again he moves faster than either of you can see. The spere disappears and he grabs the small one into his steel fist, giving him exactly same treatment. His steely grip gets a bit tighter aroud your skulls.

"Explain. Now."

His fingers dig slightly deeper into your skull and he stares you thoughtfully. It is starting to hurt.

"This was a delicate operation to gain information. Excellent job for a shapeshifter like you, as limited as you are. And if you failed to get it then it was a very expensive failure."

After thinking for a moment he unceremoniously drops you both.

"But lost memories are never truly lost. Get in the car."

Shut up, he could probably kill you.

Do you guys think we should mention there are two more?

Why should we?

He turns to you.

"Come to think about it, do we really need both of you? My car doesn't have much of passenger space and I never really liked you in first place..."

Shut up, he could probably kill you.

Speaking of, where are they? Coolrune and PaPaj?

In other words, you know which one each of us is. Sounds like a good enough reason to help you out. I'll want to know my identity, though.

In other words, you know which one each of us is. Sounds like a good enough reason to help you out. I'll want to know my identity, though.

He stops at the car door and turns to stare you disbelief in his eyes. "You don't even know your own name?"

After another moment of consideration he throws the small glass sphere to you. The small needle floating inside points you unerringly. "This is an enchanted compass, made to find its creator more easily. Because, you know, it can be very hard to find and identify a shapeshifter who's hiding from one of most dangerous organizations in supernatural world. You'll notice it points both of you, depending which one is closer." This you quickly confirm this with your partner. "You'll see my problem here."

"As for your identity, Edward is what you responed to. Or who you were before." He adds afterwards. "Now get in the car, before I put you both into trunk."

Shrug and get in the car

Might as well I guess. Not like I have anything else to do.
