Go out searching for other uses of power. Certainly, we cannot be alone here.

Alone you are not, certainly. Not in this city. However as much as you focus on your senses you do not feel any other use of powers. Maybe it simply has very short range. And going out alone looking for other beings of magic doesn't feel very good idea, not in a body this weak. And especially when you are unable to use most of your powers.

Ah, that other one is going ahead. You join him. Her. It.

Look for some bigger corpse to possess.

In a city like this you think it shouldn't be too hard to find fresh corpses. The only problem you can think is that corpses may not be alone, as in some one may be wathing over them, either their enemies or allies. And in both case you don't think they would be too happy to let a body snatcher take over. Your kind is not... very highly respected. But as long as you don't act out of character nobody should take notice.

You start waddling ahead with your unsteady legs and are joined by another puppy. The mother dog and other puppy are staying behind. Together you wander around, mostly staying out of sight and danger, only once coming near death when crossing a road and suddenly a car came without lights on. Scary event for someone as small as you two. Eventually you come across a corpse: small, hairy, and wizened humanoid in rags. Unfortunately it is currently being eaten by a large dog with shaggy dark green fur. You figure it may be in your best interests to hide and make no noise in hopes that the dog monster leaves enough of the corpse behind.

Try to figure out what happened and why cant i remember anything

You are mostly drawing blanks here. All you can recall that you were in your incorporeal form, sense of urgency unrelated to not possessing anything. Otherwise nothing comes mind. By time you have enough of your fruitless attempts to remember the two other puppies have waddled away, leaving you alone with the one with adult dog body. If nothing else, she can at least make new corpses for you to possess. If she feels like it.

I missed entry into this, didn't I?

For now, yes. But keep eye open, something may or may not pop up.

Yes, definitely hide for the time being.

This may be an Unwanted observation by someone uninvolved in this game, but it sounds to me that the four players were originally one body snatcher who mentally and spiritually "broke up" because of a slight screw up on their attempted body jump, Reducing its powers significant amount, and stripping it of its memorys... Then again, an alternate possibility is that Body snatchers reproduce by Attempting to take a body when there are multiple bodys directly around it, and because of how hated they are how they reproduce is a fact the majority of them don't know.

It's too busy with eating that monkey to turn it's attention on us. Do you really think that it haven't smelled us already? It's a fucking dog! There's a reason police use them to search for drugs or explosives!

You know what? I don't care. Be as loud as you want. I'll be waiting over here, not getting eaten.

I am gonna get back to the others
The mother dog joins the others that went on ahead.

The two who were left behind decide to follow them, just in case they manage do find better bodies, dead or alive. And since they got very effective noses it's fairly easy to follow smell trail they left behind. Unfortunately, before you can meet up with them you catch a familiar whiff. In particular you smell those same humans who probably killed your current host. All three of them.

"Hey, doeshn't that mutt look familiar?"
"It does."
"All mixed breeds look the same."
"We could go another round, don't ya think?"
"Sure!"

Three young retropunks, smelling strongly alchohol and drugs, swaying unsteadily. This could be a mixed blessing; they are clearly not in very good combat condition which means mama dog could possibly rip their throats open, but on the other hand it's basically one against three, puppy won't have any changes against them. And they got knives too...

Currently you are on sidewalk of relatively open road in concrete jungle, but there's another dark alley close by. More suitable battleground away from prying eyes and ears...

Yes, definitely hide for the time being.
"So, how do we decide who gets the body?"
We'll play rock, paper and scissors...

Wait until the monster leaves

The two brave puppies hide behind a large trash bin and wait. Luck is on their side; after a minute the giant dog has had enough and leaves, leaving the half eaten corpse behind. It jogs into intersection of three alleys and literally disappears into thin air. That would have made a nice host... Unfortunately also highly visible one in public. You wait few minutes just to be sure it's not coming back suddenly.

It doesn't.

Now to the more important question: which one gets a new body?

You can take that body, as long as you promise to protect me until I'll have something better than this...
