Sola tries to wriggle through, but wriggling is hard in full plate.
"At the least, madam, touch it with something besides your bare flesh! Your shield, perhaps, or your sword."

"I... I'm wearing full plate. I have no bared flesh!" Melodia almost seems embarrassed.

[Adragis]

Sola is dumbfounded.
"A fool am I for ignoring such a blatant fact! Then I must merely urge you to exercise extreme caution, madam."
She tries to bow, but is still stuck in the doorway.

[Sanure]

"O-okay, so maybe full plate is not fully true, but I assure you only my face is visable!" Melodia is even more embarrassed.

Evangeline, Sola, Melodia

As Melodia's hand contacts the corpse, a ball of light forms at its heart, then floats slowly upwards, about three feet off the floor. It remains for a few seconds before suddenly flying into Melodia's chest and disappearing.

No longer needed by its former owner. Perhaps someone else could make use of it?

Though it is gone physically, Melodia can feel it within herself - a very strange sensation. She also has the inkling that she could draw it forth again, if she wished.

"Regardless. Considering the circumstances.  I pose the question. Where the Fuck are we?"

The church doors pose no answer.

Louie coughs a bit to clear his throat.
Ah, that's better! Anyway, that is a good question! Let's find out!
Louie turns and pries open the church doors.
"Hello?"

[Adragis]

"Madam! Are you injured? Do you require assistance?"

[Chevaleresse]

The masked pyromancer turns to regard their companions. Their withered lips crack open in a wide smile, revealing plenty of yellowed and missing teeth. As they incline their head in greeting, they also check that all of their equipment and items are where they should be. "My, my. What unusual company for an unusual place. I am Ywis of the Great Swamp," they say, pronouncing it as Ye-Wise with their thick accent, "Who might you two be?"

"If you require a name, you may call me Onryo." They start forward, proceeding down the stairs confidently yet cautiously, right hand ready to reach for their weapon.

[SOLDIER First]

Larae, Louie, Samson

The doors open quite easily. The inside is rather small, with only an aisle, the raised platform where the altar belongs, and a small doorway set in the far wall. The many wooden pews inside have been shoved to the walls, clearing a larger - but only just - space to walk. However, the altar itself is covered in sheaves of paper, discarded ink bottles, and quill pens; a similar mess is strewn about the upper area of the church as well.

The source of the noise appears to be someone clad in green robes pacing back and forth behind the altar, muttering quietly and indistinctly to themselves. They don't seem to notice you enter.

Kent, Onryo, Ywis

The stairs are easily navigable and Onryo is soon at the corridor's split. It seems there are two hallways - the one seen earlier and a second one leading left that was hidden from view where they stood earlier. Footsteps echo from farther along the stone passages.

"Ah-ha! Excuse me, friend! We're a bit lost! Where are we, right now?"

[SOLDIER First]

Larae, Louie, Samson

"_{Can't afford to--} Aaaagh!" The figure shrieks, jumping in surprise and whirling around to face the door. They pull a small mace from their belt and hold it out towards you three, hands shaking.

"W-who are you? What do you want from me...?"

They sound like a woman.

[Sanure]

"Sorry. Yes, I'm fine. We should leave this place now. We need to know where we are. I can't fight with a spear in this place..."

[Adragis]

"With luck, madam, there will be no fighting this day."
She shifts a little, and grimaces.
"...and with luck, I will dislodge myself from this doorway."

[Sanure]

Melodia lets out a slight giggle and attempts to help Sola out of the doorway.
