Pontie

The town is very thrown-together, full of ramshackle wooden buildings and the remnants of old furniture, with barely enough space for two people to walk down the alleyways side by side. As you approach, a pair of the townspeople look at you, moaning, and begin to shamble over. Their gait is slow and unsteady, their skin sallow. It is when they're only yards away you notice the glint of daggers clutched in their bony, emaciated hands...

Evangeline, Sola

"So they are. But they're also places of healing, of restoration. The heat of the Bonfire brings all Undead back to life, in some way or another. That's how the soldiers keep coming back. It rejuvinates them, slowly, over a long time, even without any Estus."

Melodia

One of the corpses near Melodia twitches its hand.

You loose an arrow each at the Hollows. They find their marks in your target's stomachs, rotten blood oozing from the wounds - but the Hollows keep coming. They're mere feet away now.

"That sounds very troubling. But since you're offering up information, do you know what's down that hallway?"
She gestures at the doorway off to the left.

"That just leads to the walls of the Fortress. Not much interesting until you get into the Fortress itself. There are armories all over the place, full of equipment and weapons."

"Ah, so nothing particularly useful to me. Swords like a Zweihander aren't exactly a soul a dozen. Though, maybe there's something Melodia might want? I should go back and ask her."

With that, Evangeline goes back to do exactly what she said.

Melodia is still leaning against the wall she was earlier, "I have my arms already, what more do I need? But this bonfire would be a good place to rest until you two are ready." Melodia starts to make her way to the bonfire, only to stop to look towards the twitching.

Melodia

Nothing. You wait just a moment, and suddenly, it stands.

Evangeline, Melodia, Sola

Seconds after the first Hollow rises once more, the others follow suit. One more, then two, then three... A total of five bodies rise - two advance upon Melodia from either side of her, one with an axe and the other a longsword, while three head for Evangeline and Sola - all with swords, but the one in the center possessing a shield alongside his blade. Their armor clinks and jangles as they approach, groaning...

Lyndon swiftly exits the room, drawing his weapon. "Ah, damn it! They're back up so soon... this isn't good. Everyone, be careful. They're Hollow, but still remember how to use those weapons!"

"Ohohoho... Well, if it's a fight these Hollows want, that's what they'll get."

That said, Evangeline charges in, swinging her Zweihander in a wide arc at the Hollows.

Boudicca, Ludek, Meredith
The Hollow perishes with a horrible choking sound and more of that foul blood spraying forth.

Ludek gains a Pittance of Souls.

"I believe I can be of help."

Raivo approaches Meredith slowly. Setting his mace briefly against his hip, the armored titan reaches into a small satchel on his belt, pulling out a rather tiny-looking bundle of... grass? He proffers it to the wounded fencer.

"Take this. It's called Crescent Moon Grass. Grind it between your teeth, then swallow; it should speed up the healing of your wounds." The man then straightens, turning to Boudicca and Ludek. "I have enough for everyone."

Bouddica finds nothing else of note in the room, until her eyes happen across a small glint of light - red, like a ruby, set in the face of a small stone disc off in the corner, amongst the debris.
Meredith nods, and follows the instructions - letting out a quiet sigh as she feels her wounds heal and close. "My thanks, Raivo." She takes a glance around the room - (and nods when Boudicca displays the ruby thing) - there had been an exit, right?

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

Melodia reacts quick, ducking and rolling forward, quickly turning to face her enemies, shield raised.
