Yeah, I just looked and it does seem kind of redundant.

Also, what type of alchemy are you trying for? Potions? Magic?

I know. The original crossbow (and basic quarterstaff, for that matter) is essentially an artifact of when Dark One and I were discussion the fact that the Wanderers should have something to help out their lack of class features.

I'm not sure why the "staff" is there at all.

Yep, as ever, I bestow upon Glass the expected +1
I'm gonna say we go with whatever Glass's idea is.

Also, what type of alchemy are you trying for? Potions? Magic?

Possibly semi-magical but more restorative stuff and potentially elemental damage like pastes to rub on weapons or volatile chemical mixtures (the volatile stuff would be combat skills, cause you have to use em as you make em)

Edit: I wanted a person trying to use science in this world of magic, even if it's just applying science to magic

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

How about enchanted flasks? You stuff a mixture in one, and then toss it like a grenade or something, then after it breaks, another one takes it's place in your bag. Maybe it would allow you to control your damage type to a extent. Take a turn to dump out and make a new mix on the fly.

Will be away for like two days. Can I be autopiloted? Just stick to the group, use holy damage against any enemies that aren't undead, and prayer/healing when there is, sorta thing. If you wanna just put me in cold storage or something like that, or just straight up retire me, I understand.

It sure was a bit NaCl'y here when I was asleep...

No problem with auto-piloting characters for some time. Glass has 60 damage espadon and can exchange it for the other greatsword, just like other items (he still needs to roll for transferring heraldry from armor).

About items better useable by other classes - rolling 1 will have much more dire consequences, and there's -25% damage (as with all the % stuff in this RTD, it's more of estimated according to rolls).

I left those weaker items there if someone wanted to go full physical or just have a challenge.

I added a poll for adding Alchemist class.

Also, check your equipment and specify what items you're going to use.

Worst case, we don't have to add a new class, just a new piece of gear at most. Wanderer does make a nice template like that.
ia! Ia! Praise be!

Wanderer is a good template for pretty much everything.

Going to post info about fallen angel and add new players to waitlist once I'll get to my laptop.

I think I know who put the joke answer...
By the way, can I check if that sapphire necklace aids my cold damage now?

EDIT: And my loadout will pretty much always be "wanderer's cloak, my best melee weapon, my holy crossbow, my buckler", with the second one currently being the DR Greatsword.
Intangibility kinda makes the crossbow moot, since I don't really have to worry about range, but it's good for enemies weak to holy damage.

EDIT2: Idea for sub-class:
Dragonruler
-Bonuses to elemental damage
-Bonuses to negotiation with sentient entities
-Bonuses to finding equipment
-Ability to enchant items

Sound good?

Sure, we'll see what rolls show.

Intangibility makes you weak against holy and banishment, so if you'll get in a fight against several dark spirits and NRDL adds and uses a skill like WoG against dark spirits, you'd be fried.

Every class is able to enchant items with right tools. You'd have to be a god or extremely good enchanter to add enchantment on items through focus forwarding alone. Temporary enchantments (buffs on weapons) would be ok though.

Fair enough. Temporary enchantments can last pretty long, anyway, and I can just reapply them.

(I was asleep, did I miss anything? Also, I am fine with Dustan choosing who gets the loot, after all, he did kill the boss in a solo duel.)

Immortality like that would be even more game breaking than four Aaron's in one place.

You could develop a skill turning into spirit made of holy energy or upgrade current one, but then you'd be weak against dark and corruption.

They either can be made to last several turns if you need strong, short lived enchantment or weaker charges to use up over longer time.
