Blast the pests with arcane magic. Massive AoE arcane damage blast to the group of weak enemies.

Would Aaron be ready for them? Y'know, since my action was about being ready for combat.

Anyone that posted anything about being watchful or ready to battle gets no ambush penalties. So you don't get a -1 to rolls.

Also, don't underestimate implings...

I have +1 rolls when attacking demons, my tome has AoE +20 arcane damage (+10 arcane with my charm) and i get +10 damage because of high faith. I am quite sure i should underestimate the implings :P

Bonus gets nullified by ambush -1 penalty, AoE blast isn't big enough to kill all of them at once (not mentioning the open hell pit from which more can come), and you don't know their skills yet.

Turn 9



[Aaron: 1, Implings: 5] Wanderer groaned, aiming with his crossbow to shoot three implings with one shot. He completely missed and the bolt flied high above the swarm. One of implings stopped: Oooh! Kutachyan! - it said in awe and gave a signal to other implings. They started spitting bolts at Aaron! Twelve bolts flied right at him, some were stopped by his armor but most of them went through and wounded him!

I guess fighting is the only answer to everything here. Let's participate in another meaningless slaughter. - demonologist said, then asked smoke imp: Smoke, do you know anything about these lesser demons? - he got a reply immediately: They are mimics, they can and will copy all your attacks!

[Pguhyuh: 6, Implings: 4] Demonologist opened his dark tome and raised his hand, preparing to forward a blast of arcane energy. Implings looked at him and copied all his moves, and they shot their arcane blasts at the same time - a huge bolt from Pguhyuh, and twelve smaller bolts from implings. They were enough to stop demonologist's blast and send a few small bolts back at him. His demonhide armor mostly protected him however.

[Dennis: 3, Implins: 2] A lot of 'em this time! Hahaha! - Dennis laughed feeling a sudden rush of faith. He moved in a wild charge into the swarm, killing one of demons! Rest of implings scattered around in chaos.

[Jeremiah: 1 +2, Implings: 6] Damned unceasing horrors... - exorcist whispered in fear. He wanted to shoot a holy bolt at one of demons, but his Holy Inquisition Symbol only gleamed faintly. Something stopped him from holy bolting an impling, however, the light from his symbol blocked their ability to copy team's skils! They all rushed towards exorcist!

[Jacob: 5 -1, Implings: 2] A wild charge from Jacob got another of the demons down!

[Reynald: 2, Implings: 4] Inquisitor tried to stop the swarm from coming closer to exorcist with wide sweeping slashes, but he was too slow and they all either dodged or got under him between his legs, scratching them slightly!

[Implings: 1, Jeremiah: 5] Most of the demons that got closer to exorcist were stopped by holy force field created by Jeremiah's symbol and some of them were even knocked out by it!

Implings: 2 dead, 4 knocked out, 10x[10/10]

Dennis: -1 holy charge, level up
Aaron: -10 HP
Pguhyuh: -1 HP
Reynald: -5 HP




OOC

Haven't applied the ambush penalty, generally it's not a good idea. Some bad rolls in the beginning. Should smoke be on auto-attack or will you post an action for him?

Check enemy types, you've got all weaknesses, stats, resistances and skills of enemies there, smoke imps included.

Town Fool's Luck and pitchfork another imp.
