Undead Hunt
Dark Age Upon Us

What's this about?

After a relatively short break from running RTD games, I decided to start something new. I won't continue my previous forum games, sorry guys and thanks for playing. Undead Hunt - Dark Age Upon Us is a game about world overwhelmed by darkness, forgotten by gods, where undead rise among restless haunts and horrifying demons. A world, where last spark of hope is yet to disappear, kept up by undead hunters.

Story

Many years have passed since a great world war between kingdoms of Axewrath ended. Claiming it's bloody harvest, the war brought also disease outbreaks that taken lives of uncountable victims, turning many bustling with activity settlements into ghost towns. Literal ghost towns, as when humanity - losing it's faith due to horrors of great war, turned their backs on gods, dieties secretely thrown a powerful curse upon the world. Unsealing the gates to Underworld, they left the path open for dead, dark spirits and demons. To come, and take over whole Axewrath, beginning the Dark Age. In the first few days, cataclysm claimed even more lives than plagues. But with time, mankind learned how to defend themselves. Undead Hunters spread across the world, to keep up the spark of hope and bring back the faith in gods. However, undead hunters are only few, and their profession ensures that they're also short-lived.

Interesting.

Name: Aaron Blaze
Gender: Male
Appearance: A little bit taller than average, with red hair and a general look that might be called "elfish", but with skin that would likely be described as "sickly" or "zombie-like". Skinny.
Biography: As far as anyone can tell, he didn't exist prior to the cataclysm. However, this doesn't stop him for being a fierce protector of those who live still.
Class: Wanderer
Health Points: 20
Faith: 10
Equipment: sword, wanderer's cloak, buckler, brimstone chunk, holy crossbow
Skills: not yet
Active effects: None

Glass is, as usual, correct.
Yep, as ever, I bestow upon Glass the expected +1
I'm gonna say we go with whatever Glass's idea is.

Maybe I'll add a side-weapon slot for ranged weaponry, and add side-weapon to every class?

Sounds good.

I would like some additional stuff, though, for wanderers. We don't have much going for us right now.
Maybe we could get access to some of the better side weapons?

Added some of low-damage output stuff to all classes side-weapons. But I agree that wanderers need some better side-weapons, since they don't have any means to fight properly with demons and dark spirits. I'll add them some buffed stuff.

Fixed that before I seen your post. I added two buffed side-weapons to wanderers.

Also, in the exorcist class description, should it say +1 bonus against dark spirits?

Right, fixed it. That's why you should write it all down instead of writing straight to the OP, and then check more than once.

Thanks, I'll add the bonus to my active effects.

Also, is the Holy Inquisition Symbol a sort of directed holy energy blast, or an outward explosion of holy energy?

Also, for purposes of damage immunities, resistances, and weaknesses, is ranged damage with physical damage, or a separate category altogether?

A directed blast.

I think it would be good to have it as a different category, or at least a subcategory of physical damage. You'll need a really good protection to stop a high velocity missile, or a strong shield to block it.
