All creatures trainable - Masterwork Dwarf fortress
« on: June 13, 2017, 10:01:19 am »

Hello, Im just wondering if you can train creatures such as goblins and gnolls for war. I play masterwork and there is a tag "All creatures trainable" donno if this concern enemies such as goblin and beastmen which i have in my cages. If i cannot tame them, what should i do with them? Answers would be awsome!

That's a question better suited for the modding forum.
Dorfs don't accept slavery, and the only sapient creature that can be tamed is the gremlin (although I believe animal people can be modded to behave like gremlins [i.e. like a pain in the bum when joining the fortress as citizens, due to a need for constant retraining, but with going to retraining sessions being a very low priority task]).
I suspect you can't mod civ building races to be possible to train.

I recommend seeing how high of a tower you have to build before you can throw them off the top and make em' explode upon impact.

You can embark with civ-building races if you add the [PET] and [COMMON_DOMESTIC] tokens, if I recall proper. They cost 1 pt. each.
