You are Diophius, you are known for your clumsiness, which nearly bankrupt the Wholando empire. You were sure they would remove your head for your last mistake, instead you find yourself leading a crowd of some very shifty individuals, that don't really seem to believe that you are the king... of this place. After an uneventful pilgramig you now look upon what is yours, and wonder how in the hell is this place called the Golden Empire.

The advisor appointed to you presents you with the report on the status of the kingdom... But you accidentally knock it into the muck- he is shocked but his face becomes firm after a moment and he says not to worry about it, "it wasn't very good."

You are pretty clear on the situation anyway. Your advisor leans over to admire a purple rose when suddenly a green puff of smoke rises and he falls over stone-dead. You fail to notice this however as some 500 very upset settlers, suddenly disenchanted upon arrival to this miserable bog, are blaming you for their fate. You better think of something fast...

What do you do?

A. Give an encouraging speech, lie that you know why it is called the Golden Empire and they will soon find out that they are truly blessed.
B. Give an encouraging speech, tell them about your heritage and that it is your destiny to succeed in your Homeland.
C. Give an honest speech, say you are just as surprised as them, you don't know how you'll make it, and you aren't sure you are even fit to be king. Open up suggestions.
D. Something else. (Can be extremely unlikely but it should still make sense within the world. If used this option won't be available for the next two turns.)

You turn to face the surrounding angry mob, and clear your throat.

You explain your heritage and destiny, their destiny. All were chosen, you recite as the Wholando King said to you, for being identified as the few remaining decendants of the once proud people's of this ancestral homeland and ancient ally to the kingdom of our birth. And with your ties to the royal bloodline as their king, they are all destined to rise here together. As One People of the new Golden Empire.

Silence, for a long time. Then came the shouts, "You idiot!", "You believe that shit?", from there it gets worse. A large bulky figure stomps over.. he sizes up your guards.. they flee. You brandish your sword, but it tumbles out of your grasp. He pushes you in the muck and the crowd laughs and disperses.

Your guards, if they can be called that, offer you help up...

What do you do?

A. Push the ingrates' hands away, slay the brute who humiliated you. Place his head on a pike outside your carriage.
B. Wave their hands away, command them to find the brute and have him report to your carriage. When he does offer him a position as your new bodyguard.
C. Take their hands, have them go with you as you spend the evening making sure the caravan is secure before you retire to your carriage.
D. Something else. (Can be extremely unlikely but it should still make sense within the world. If used this option won't be available for the next two turns.)
