Aseaheru, I believe you spent more than 500xp on the Origin Path (it's limited to 500), you didn't list your advances and the experience spent on them and you have a sword despite not having training in it (Primitive is not included in Universal).

Didn't check the math, but the sword is listed on the Void Master starting equipment rather than being an acquisition. Thus he does have it, and you do too . The Mano upgrade makes them no longer count as primitive, maybe that counts for weapon proficiency too.

 Why is the "universal" training not actually universal? Thats jsut... Silly, and should probably have been expected. In any event, it is a mono sword, and mono makes it non-primitive.
 Some added notes: Wounds where calculated prior to the toughness advance, I was indeed slightly over on the origin path and have replaced Devotion(loyalty) with Vengance accordingly. Also added the free acquisition, pending GM approval.
 Also, if possible, can I swap out my uniform and standard voidsuit with the footfall pattern, which is slightly worse as a pure voidsuit in part as its something able to be worn sans some parts(required for it to work as a spacesuit) as standard clothing?

No, you get 500 for origin path then you add the rest after. Basically you make the character then level it up. You can choose things from the first box on your rank advancement (also someone double check my advice. Its 7 AM here and I haven't sleeped all night -_-)

Yes, it is unfortunately silly. And like I said, Mono only takes off the Quality and adds penetration. Primitive weapons aren't only weapons with the Primitive Quality, they're the non-Exotic weapons listed as Melee Primitive. It's a type of melee weapon on itself, much like Chain.

And while you do calculate initial wounds based on pre-advance Toughness, remember it's TB*2+1d5.

I think I filled out my character as far as I recall. Other than not knowing how to fill in a Navigator (details-wise), the background is done. Just wondering how to spend that 2000xp left. And where or how to compute the weight of items present, plus quality, or compute my move speed or initiative.

But wow did I roll up an agility-based...Navigator.

You can swap your rolls around--the choices are either (Point Buy) or (Roll and Assign).

XP works like this: After choosing origin path and career, you are automatically at 4500 XP. You can then spend up to 500 XP on origin path stuff such as bionics.
Afterward, you can add 2000 xp of Rank 1 advances, bringing you up to Rank 2.

So you can spend a max total of 2500 XP on advances.
