I will be working on a very bad idea based on the Land Wars series of games (or specifically, the ones that actually lasted multiple days). I won't spoil much about it, but it'll involve multiple forum sites for shits and giggles. If I don't make any progress reports in a few days, delete my internet history.

Before anyone asks; I'll be basing it off of a mix of Supernerd's version, and the more traditional ones I've hosted.

It was a forum game where people create their own kingdoms based on practically anything within reason (which includes everything that isn't any of the following: very far ahead of a late medieval techlevel or equivalent, likely to get the thread deleted (which fortunately hasn't been an issue to my knowledge), knowingly unbalanced, or going to be a headache for other players and the host) and design them from the ground up - individual troop types, their kingdom's maps, their unique supplies, what projects they undertake, etc, and each ingame day is one actual day in real life. Basically stellaris but more freeform and not in space.

If you dig around in the search function you might be able to find one such example of a game.
