Wow that's a lot to read.  I'm part way through one of them and I will come back and check out all of them.  I've never seen a succession fort go so smoothly before - the people involved must have known what they were doing pretty well.

I've always wanted to try one but I'm the sort of person who'd want to do year 1 and then see what other people do with it.

I'm familiar with TV tropes, I've spent some time there going from link to link.  I'm not sure what brought me there, perhaps my fondness for Star Trek or Buffy the Vampire Slayer.  I'm sorry to hear your other succession games fell apart but that 's kind of what I'm used to.  Five people work really hard and then a forgotten beast comes and kills everyone or something.

I bet I'm not the only one reading some of these succession fort stories now.

Probably not. The last couple fell apart because people lost interest.

I was looking up some Jesus stories for a mythology class one day and I came across one of their Jesus trope pages. I think it was Kung Fu Jesus. I was hooked but knew it wasn't quite what I needed, so I bookmarked it and kept coming back for more. The rest is history over there.
