Yeah unfortunately I don't have the best computer, and it takes a while to fire up Armok Vision every time I run it. To do the dancing video I turned down the graphics to make it run faster. If I'm just showing off a still image I turn them up a bit. As I got further into making my videos I got better at switching back and forth, so I think the trend is I use more and more Armok Vision as my videos go on. I think that last one you're talking about is the first time I tried to show combat in it.
The reason I don't use it during the combat scenes is currently it doesn't render bolts in flight or ballistas. You wouldn't know if the crossbow team was firing until they killed something, and they spend a lot of time softening up the goblins for everyone else.
Yeah, I figured that bolt issue was one of the reasons. Us Tropers (Members of TVTropes.com) are building up minor interest in doing another succession fort after I showed the others Armok Vision, but it's slow going. And I'm on the fence about doing it just yet, since next version is, in relative terms, right around the corner and it promises to add so much more to roleplay. On the other hand, it's going to be a long time before it settles back down enough for another Vision update we can use, so if we're going to do it with AV we need to do it with this version or sit on it for a while.
Anyway, looking forward to your next vids.
PS, when she first heard your vids, my mom asked "Is that Jeffrey Dean Morgan?" Great voice, man.
