Not sure if Chaos or Fate would be more appropriate... Could I have both?

Sorry, you can't have both. And I think Chaos best fits your Character.


Slight improvement on how the origins are explained:
Chaos is made of things that are Either (A) Very destructive or (B) Don't last very long
Order is made of things you would expect mortals to make, or Things which are useless without mortals (Who needs math if they can calculate the exact number of atoms in a block of wood?)
Balance is made of Natural materials, Plants, animals, and Minerals
Fate is made of things Beyond the normal world, Concepts all things carry to an extent, Forces beyond nature, and what lies within the mind.

I wasn't sure if fate or order would work better. Recording stuff seems like an orderly thing, but recording the future seems like maybe a fatey thing. In the end though there's no other gods of order that exist as of yet, so I figured I'd go with that. Ultimately it's only interaction with the future is going to be smugly declaring that that whatever happens was prerecorded and totally meant to happen, so I figured that's ultimately a pretty minor part of it's whole.
