Men... she thought, somewhat bitterly, but loaded her crossbow in preparation for battle.

Varg and Vilhjálmur meet little resistance in scaling the wall, and the voices within do not falter as they climb. On the count of three, Gunnvor, Njall, and Úlfr throw the doors open, and Varg and Vilhjálmur effortlessly smash the stained-glass window.

Within the monastery is a long, hallway with a low ceiling, opening directly into the tower. Benches line the hall, and a wooden staircase to the second floor sits to the right; within the tower is a circular pulpit and a grand, rounded pew, seemingly built into the monastery itself. Beyond the dark hallway, colorful light shines through the stained-glass windows in the tower, bathing the five figures within in an unearthly glow. On the pulpit stands a monk, and seated on the pew are three more monks and what appears to be an armored warrior.

Shards of stained glass rain down upon the preacher as he and the other four occupants look around frantically, their prayer ceasing. The monk on the pulpit seems to realize what is happening--at least, on the ground--and shouts, "Tha an ceann a tuath na fir cromadh oirnn! Airson ghŕirdeanan, a brŕithrean!"

Úlfr breaks into a run, dashing a short distance to the pews on the right side of the room, loosing a barely aimed arrow with a twang at the heavy armored figure.

Move to G14, attack the knight.

((+2 attack mod, 1d6+1d6 damage, since he's flat footed, I can use Sneak Attack.))

Vilhjálmur intones a short prayer to Heimdall, directing its effects at a currently unoccupied foe.

Cast Murderous Command [Will, DC 14] on the far-left-most Monk.

Varg leaps out of the window with his shield unbuckled from his arm, screaming like a wild animal onto the monk using his shield and the monk hopefully under his shield to soften his landing

Varg bravely leaps from the roof!

(18 + 2 = 20 vs 15) He flies from the air, and with his shield beneath him, lands directly onto the monk (6 + 5 + 2 = 13), utterly crushing him! However, Varg was not the most graceful in his leap (8 + 2 = 10 vs 15), and sustains 6 nonlethal damage and 4 lethal damage due to falling 20 feet. (9 HP remaining)

Njall charges in after Ulfr. This was the part he liked most in all of this. His voice rises in a terrible death growl as he raises his arms upward, and then breaks into a forward charge, dagger in hand.

Move to E13, initiate Inspire Courage!

D-16 and fire a bolt at the monk directly north of Gunnvor!
