You sense nothing magical about the monastery. Perhaps these monks are not as in touch with their gods as they thought.

"These mainland monks spend much of their time chanting and praying to their gods, when they aren't making books. It's possible that they are not even aware of our raid, and if that possibility exists it would be wise to exploit it."

There are several windows on the main body of the building. However, they are so small and placed so high as to render entry through them quite impractical. There are also a number of stained glass windows on the tower part of the building, which you could conceivably enter through, although they appear quite sturdy.

Hypothetically speaking, if you don't mind risking a broken bone or the like, you could climb on to the roof and use one of those windows, although you're not sure what sort of advantage that would grant you, exactly.

((Yes, I did forget about that.))

There are three stories of large, stained-glass windows in the tower and two stories of small, high-seated windows in the rectangular part of the building. You can't tell from outside whether the building has multiple floors or if it's partitioned into multiple rooms inside.
