Hrm.  Your lair is a little... basic.  Not to mention the fact that you're sort of filling it up right now.  A change is in order.

A) Expand your nest so that it's a little less 'nest'-like.  Use your claws to cut branches and build more of a tree hut.
B) Relocate to the ground.  You can cut branches and built yourself a sprawling nest on ground level instead.
C) Burrow.  You reckon you can move this wet soil easily enough and probably prop any chamber you create up with branches.
D) You know what?  You're not really the building type.  Go find someone else's lair to take over.

You set about cutting thick branches, stripping them of excess twigs and bark and piling them up for supports, then find a good spot of fairly dry and stable ground and begin the process of digging.  After several hours (and one wild sow to keep fed) you have... something!  A den, possibly.

Your lair is at the very least big enough for you and all your loot, but you seem to have run into technical issues with expansion.  Your improvised timbers help to keep the lair's shape, but you cannot expand too far out without running into drainage problems, and your claws aren't quite tough enough to make serious headway on the dense clay beneath the capacious silt layer.  It will do for now, you suppose.  You move your hoard down to the new lair and consider the construction.

A)  That's enough lair work for now.  Let's go find some more {food / challenges / wealth}.
B)  You know what?  Damn the drainage problem, maybe you can waterproof this lair a bit and keep expanding it.
C)  The entrance is fairly exposed.  Perhaps some sort of cover or trap for inquisitive creatures?  {Suggestions are welcome.}

You take some branches and cover over the entrance of your lair with them, concealing it and hopefully acting as a rudimentary pit trap of sorts - you could sprain an ankle with this!  Could be better, could be worse.

What now?

A) Try to find an additional food source for when you grow.
B) Look for new sources of wealth to expand your hoard.
C) Look for glorious challenges to overcome.
D) Something else?

I agree! And dragons are measured by wealth.
