You elect to forgive the portion of your tribute based around valuables until the marketplace is complete. The elders thank you for your grace and promise to set the craftsbolds to performing the necessary labour to bring the marketplace to fruition - it will take them a little over a year, perhaps less if circumstances are fortuitous.
You take the opportunity to look over your tithe of 10 kobolds before you set out to spread word of your appearance.
6!, 5, 2, 2
You find that the village has provided a band of strong-backed young kobolds, all suitable for labour or even training into a military force. You probably need some sort of warrior or commander to serve as trainer for them to develop any more than basic combat skills if that is your plan.
Amongst the ten is a volunteer, Jibjibjub, who is apparently an accomplished stonemason! He has had limited stone to work with in the swamp, but has done a lot with what he has been able to find. He informs you that he is eager to create works of art in your name (or image, since you have not yet adopted a name).
You escort the kobold tithe back to your lair, keeping watch over your new minions to ensure you are not followed. [? + 0 (Perception)] As far as you can tell, you are not. Once you bring them back to at least the entrance of your lair, you find yourself considering what to do with them.
Select one or more options, amongst which the kobolds will be divided.
A) Take some weapons from the hoard and start drilling - I want guards for my lair or warriors for conquest.
B) Take some bows from the hoard and go hunting. Maybe set someone swineherding too. Keep some food provided.
C) Assign them to Jibjibjub as labourers to assist him with his work.
D) Devour some or all, just to make sure everyone knows who's boss.
E) Other duties?
Additionally, choose how you want to use Jibjibjub's skills. There is ample stone here in the lair, both in masonry and some which can be cut from the hillockside near your lair entrance.
A) Decorate my lair. Carve some statues, maybe of me, maybe of other beautiful things.
B) Construct a concealed entrance for my lair to hide it from prying eyes.
C) Fortify the entrance to my lair to serve as a defensible guard post.
D) Smooth out the entrance corridor to my lair and install some simple traps while you're there.
E) Clear out some of the outer tomb chambers and rebuild them as interior barracks for my minions.
F) Construct some exterior barracks and outbuildings for my minions.
G) Something else?
