You begin hunting for a new source of food beyond these boars, since you reckon there's only so many you can kill at once before you start overhunting them. Insects and grubs feel beneath you now, and you wonder about maybe trying to find some sort of lizard or something you can eat instead.

Your instincts kick in, and you glance up from your sheltered stalking position beneath some bushes. Towering above you is some sort of bright orange and black feathered bird, about the size of a shire horse (about three times as big as the boars). Wicked black talons curve from its feet and you can see a line of concealed barbs in its wings, currently tucked against its sides. Sharp, predatory teeth sit in its beak. It is stalking quietly through the swamp, probably looking for boars or other prey to eat.
Fortunately, it does not seem to have noticed you.
A) Hide. Let it pass.

D) Mark its hunting ground, go away and prepare something special for it before you come back.
