Year 44.3 Maple gifts Dobi Whisperwind with the knowledge of making thread, clothes, stone tools, and slings.

Year 45: Orgonlonal opens a bridge in the lava moat, allowing creatures to traverse between sanddweller lands and the wilderness.

Year 46: The glorious ruler of the nation of wind is killed by a mysterious fellow who has traveled down from the mountains. He assumes leadership, and he is not content to keep his armies behind his walls.

Year 46.1 Maple teaches the crabs of the estuary how to herd schools of minnows and sardines into shallow water. The crabs have invented fishing!

In the year 47, the collective malevolence of the world gathers in the form of an insectoid hive mind that devours all it sees to grow more of itself.

Year 47.6: The estuary crabs begin leaving fish offerings to Maple. Korek the Crab becomes the head priest and constructs a site of worship in the name of Maple, the Goddess of Water and Slaying.

Year 48: The sanddwellers send several scouting parties to investigate the world.

Year 49: The estuary crabs colonize the Sacred Isles.

Year 50: The abominations feeling the great life force of the Sacred Isles begins to amass into large frenzied groups through out the underground. Their terrible appendages clawing and cut into the earth in search for the source of the delicious energy calling out to them.

Year 51: The Blue Emerald Island become inhabitated by these weird humanoid creatures with tusks and long trunks called Elemen.

Year 51.0: After the first slaughter, the crabs realize they have no chance at victory, and retreat from the Sacred Isles back to Maple's estuary.

Maple offers to strengthen the tree guardians and Spirit Tree if the Dobi Whisperwind and Fen Leafripple will rally the faeries to eradicate the abominations from the Sacred Isles, arguing that the forest will become corrupted if they do not fight this threat.

The crabs and faeries launch their assault on all three Sacred Isles. Their first battle, fighting on Blue Emerald Island, they barely win, and only with the help of the Elemen. Crab and Faerie alike feast on the mangled corpses of fallen monstrosities.

The battle for Red Sapphire Island is less succesfull. The faeries and crabs are narrowly defeated by Yig's malevolent forces.

The armies headed for Green Ruby Island were never heard of again. Rumor has it that they were utterly annihilated, and when the remaining forces attempted to retreat a legion of waterbourne monsters bound to Green Ruby consumed them all without mercy.

Year 51.3 Korek the Crab declares the spring equinox as the annual Celebration of Slaying, and the crabs make a point to pay annual food tributes to the Elemen at this time of year.

Meanwhile the crabs still living at Maple's estuary give their offerings to the bloodfaeries.
