As you enter the tavern you overhear the tail end of a story:

"And now he acts like he is obsessed or something, keeps heading out to the south, and returning by way of the Temple of Resurrection." "Really, memories and all?" "Yup, the Pillars probably find his little quest hilarious." "I wonder what he's after?" "No telling, but it would have to be pretty valuable for me to take those kind of risks, of course it's crazy Ben we're talking about. Who know why he does anything."

Ripple requests assistance from a party member, and with a translator, goes shopping.
Items:
Tarp x1
Travel Rations x13
Small Energy Crystal x1
Gold Pieces x30

I would also like to see if the mages have some sort of healing potions/charms. With the strength of numbers I am game for whatever quest is available so long as there is no sand involved!

@FakerFangirl: I'll update your inventory momentarily. Basic 2 HP health potions cost 2gp (since a small energy crystal is basically a potion for Energy damage)

Tavern conversation: "You mean crazy Ben? He's just a nut. Probably the craziest crystal type I have ever seen" (The second elemental immediately chimes in with "Ha! You mean the craziest of any type!") "If you really want to know, ol Ben heads out along the road to Blasted Rock mage school, just south west of here. The bar keep can probably mark it on your map"

Note about maps: I may have trouble updating the map in the first post, I'll see what I can do...

Tavern Group: "Blasted Rock? Head out the south gate, then just follow the signs at the crossroads."

((Note: I won't be updating the map image right now, it's too hard to do from a tablet.))

"Sssso, do any of you recall what you did to end up here?" Skia speaks softly, waving her hand at the temple. Her words come out in a slight hiss, from somewhere in her head.

She walks with the others to the tavern, arriving to hear the conversation.

"Thiss ... Ben. Doess he not babble about his missions? Surely one favoured by the pillarss must brag just a little."

Tavern Group: (response to Skia) "Favored? Unlikely, more like their jester of the week!" "Well, he does babble sometimes, but nothing interesting. He's just a nut, don't bother following him, you will probably just run into the same trouble he keeps finding."

"Oh, come on. Ssurely he sayss something juicy occassionally? I'll buy a drink for the tale." Skia makes her best attempt to seem approachable, as a being without a face can.
