Nevermind, it was mostly a joke.
It wouldn't even make sense; why kill a character with x amount of experience to give a different character x/2 experience? The overall effect is a less effective team, with less rolls to use. And beyond that, giving two characters x/4 experience doesn't make any more sense, either, because then you just have two weak characters instead of a weak character and a strong character.

OOC notes

I had this update finished, but when I went to post, the internet decided not to work, and everything was lost. I remembered what the results of the turn were, but not all the rolls. So that's why some of the rolls aren't there. Also, I didn't feel like rewriting all the flavor text since it's late and I'm tired. Sorry for the weak turn.

All the warriors are in the ocean now, as the Kraken pulled down the ship they were standing on.
Also, I've thought of an idea for a potential future battle, would you like me to PM it to you?

You're in the ocean. And may I suggest, if you're going to do that, attack tentacle 1? It basically only needs 1 hit of any kind.

Anyway, shoot it in the eye.

He is not happy to be on the surface of the water with a kraken, sea husk brutes(warriors) are great at swimming UPWARDS(blah blah inflatable gas sacks blah blah technobabble), but not so much any other direction. They prefer to walk along the sea floor and then swim to reach foes or cross deep gaps that would take longer to walk around. Sea husk lobbers(archers) on the other hand are fine with all swimming.

Turn 23


One ship was completely destroyed. The passangers swam for their lives across the arteficial lagoon towards another floating vessel. Exept the zombie. He was just relentlessly focused on killing the Kraken. Also, another mage materialized on ship 7. He stood up and said, "Is this the right place?" Just then, a tentacle shot up in the ocean. "Yep. This is the right place."

You are really glad you learned how to breathe properly from the sargent. You noticed a huge increase in your successes ever since.
240 damage to head

Daisypants:
NCA: consider moving (1)
You utterly fail at considering whether you should move. Not that that means anything. As you weren't going to move anyways.
-1 to NCA's involving movement (2 turns)
CA: Shoot tentacle 2 (1-1+1-1=1)
You were so frustrated by the damage to your ship, that you completely lose your shit and miss your shot. The Kraken sends another wave at you.
Free Attack: Wave Ship 9 (1)
The wave misses your ship, and the Kraken puts himself in excellent position to be sniped once again.
Free Attack: Arrow shot eye (4-1+1-1=3)
Your next shot is on target, but doesn't deal as much damage as you had hoped. It was slightly off, striking a still-intact portion of the eye rather than drilling through it into the vulnerable inner bits.

Marco Ruyn:

You study the other mages in the fight, notably Abdul and Sitcher. Sitcher was using powerful magic you did not know how to do, but Abdul was a different story. He didn't seem that powerful, but he kept drawing magical energy from somewhere. You deduce that love is the answer. His love for bubbles is making him more powerful. As a man who was never loved, you were completely befuddled. Is this how life was supposed to be? NO! You were taught that pain brings power. And it will continue to bring power to you. You think of all the pain in your childhood as your eye was removed and replaced with... something else... That gave you power. You feel yourself strengthening.

CA: magic beam head (2+1+1-1=3)
Your beam was aimed at the larger (but still squishy) head of the Kraken, rather than the difficult-to-hit eye. The strike is a glancing blow, but still does some damage

Zombie Young Johnny:
NCA: Get the Kraken's attention (6)
Your coffin lands in the water, and floats. Creating a really expensive one-person boat. But you want the Kraken to attack you, so you splash and thrash inthe water. The Kraken notices you, and becomes focuesd on killing you.
Kraken forced to attack you during its turn
CA: Kick Tentacle 1 (1-2+1=1)
While in the ocean, you have very little chance of dealing any damage whatsoever, as is the case with your attack.
Free Attack: Bite (4)
After suitibly crushing the once-powrful ship into a bunch of scrap wood, the Kraken comes towards you at lightning speed, picks uo your coffin with it's arms, and tosses you out. It discards the coffin, and eats you whole. While the undead disease does affect most mammels, it is probable that the Kraken would be immune to it.
infinity damage to Johnny, Johnny is dead (again)

HeadChopper:
NCA: swim to ship 6 (6)
You swim so fast to the ship, to the point of exhaustion. But you make it to your destination, and some crew members toss a rope down for you. You're not sure why they helped out a lobster, but maybe they thought they could eat you afterward. You are too exhausted to attack.
No longer in the ocean
CA: none

Grug:
NCA: Swim to ship 6 (3)
You desperately swim towards the ship that the lobster went to, but you only make it halfway in the time it takes the lobster to make it all the way.
CA: none.

Urist:
NCA: get to ship 7 (Free teleport), play slow melody (6)
You play a soothing melody that makes your actions more thurough, but slower.
-1 to your next attack, +50% damage to your next attack
CA: Magic Bolt head (2-1=2)
Your shot misses, wasting the extra damage you could have done.

Sitcher:
NCA: "Get out of the water you idiots. What did I tell you?"
CA: Magic Blast eye (1-1-1=1)
The shot is way off target, but the beam of light brings it back slightly, detonating nearby, doing some damage.
