"This is the necklace of persuasion that we've made for you, Emperor Yoe of Methiant, per our agreement. Now, again, per agreement, we wish to be paid in full."

You pay for the necklace in full. The dwarves are given money, and they pass the necklace into hands of the Advisor, who hangs it on your neck. For the size of its links and the gemstones used, it feel suprisingly light.

The dwarves leave in less than an hour, taking your wealth in covered wagons.

1196 AD, Midsummer

A reply from Mahjar Sim arrives; unfortunately, currently the plantations in far eastern Sim would not be able to meet your demand, and he would rather not anger his southernly trading partners by cutting flow of spices to them just to redirect them to Methiant.

In an afterthought, he asks whether Emperor of Methiant would be interested in more tchai leaves, for his land has still plenty of them to share.

As for the spice dilemma...

A) Well, there we go - no more spices for peoples of Methiant!
B) Time to get rough and bring order to the spice-snorting crazies out there!
C) Get me the Edicts' book, the Trade Commission will handle prices and rationing of spices!

As for extra t'chai leaves...

A) We gonna buy extra and then have noone to sell it. Nuh-uh!
B) Fine, extra t'chai leaves, extra hot drinks for us!
