Guys, we shouldn't focus Trade while we have that fricking Passage tax. One trade deal is fine, as it likely helps build the bond between nations (and perhaps even Albion) - but anything beyond that strikes me as kinda dumb.

Earlier I think I read something that made it sound like the passage tax was a flat +1 to economy. If that isn't true, I'll change my vote to trade.

Edit:

Another idea would be to simply repel the passage tax. The fireblood court costs two economy pips as long as we don't have fireblood ingreedients, and we just got new toys from them, so we could repel that for a time to make up the difference.

...Or hell. We could offer to sell King Erik our fireblood secrets if he agrees to eat some of the cost of our fireblood court; I think we can trust him.
