A reply from Cidric arrives. In the letter he offers to take the two years of Methiantese silver and then pay it off in certain rates in a seven year period. You hand the mathematics for Treasurer to figure out, and after a while he scoffs.

"In seven years at this rates we will have negligible amount of profits from the loan, sire. Whoever advised King Cidric this repayment plan was either imbecile or a scrooge."

A) "Then there shall be no loan, and no deal!"
B) "Well, as long as we're not in the red by the end of it!"

I don't think our last yearly report counted the troops we had up north helping Cidric. We will know for sure when we get the scrolls in a few months, but I don't think our military situation is quite as bad as it appears.
