You make a plan to visit the capital of Cydwyl this year.

Then you read Cidric's letter.

In it he praises you for the help your Army has given his nation, and he promises to repay in kind whenever your Empire gets attacked or otherwise threatened.

However, he has another request to make and that is of money. He has heard that your silver mines are highly profitable and their yearly output would help greatly in invigorating Cydwyl's treasury. He writes that he can't take a loan, but he would repay you somehow in the future.

A) Sure thing, gotta help family after all!
B) Sorry, I don't run a charity here.
C) But I can offer a very good interest rates!
D) I can give half of yearly silver, but not more.

Honestly, we know Cidric is kinda dumb. We also know he kinda likes us. We can deduce that somebody in his court has an Anti-Methiant streak and talked him into giving us back the money we gave him. If these letters reveal our son-in-law (or worse our daughter) is being nagged or bullied to act against our interests, I fully support sending in the mother to nag and bully them in the other direction.

Called it. Hopefully our longterm solution once we visit is to leave somebody (perhaps a brother or great grandmother of the queen) behind with the stated intention of keeping Eirika company and helping her with her kids and the unstated intention of helping to keep tabs on the King's uncles.

For now, I'll vote for Kashyyk's E if I am allowed to. Otherwise C.
