Most of them are deserters from Felonsein army; after their rules fled ignobly, the soldiers decided to take other, less scrupulous occupations, to sustain themselves.

They ask that you permamently station part of the Army as road guards.

A) No! The Army can help, but only until I recall them home.
B) Agreed. We conquered Felonsein, time we tend to it.
