Uh, I hate to bring this up, but...

Our task involves putting right this ancient wrong:

"A long ago, there was a powerful dynasty, and one of its leaders was a powerful king. He now sits, under the lake of two fish, waiting, for his burial was indecent and respect was not given to him.

Over in the Lore thread Harry Baldman linked to Feodh's reign in the first SPAMKINGDOM game; I read a bit past his era and it turns out Feodh was given a no expense spared burial.

They could have misidentified the corpse, there were other victims eaten by the hydra. It's also possible we're talking to the wrong undead guy. Or IT's lying.
