Not because of this battle, but because these Damdamians are the sort who send a messenger to talk things out (sort of) before hand. They play by rules of engagement: they will respect us better if we do the same but scorn us if we do not. Even if we are able to push through to take part or all of Rucus, I doubt we have enough troops to snap up the Empire in one swoop. We will need a peace sometime.

By you're woken in the early morning by the war horns of Damdamians! They've begun their fighting when it is still pretty dark outside!

The initial attack by their coalition forces is stopped, however, and you can muster a counterattack of your own!

It penetrates deep into their ranks! The center is collapsing, but then you see the banner of Kingdom of Rucus amongst some horsemen that are charging into the thickest combat! Is it mayhaps the Crown Prince himself, leading his men??

Umm... We want to avoid a possible 1x1 with this guy for two reasons:

1: Our one-eye debuff means we have bad odds against another Martial opponent
2: We have already won two duels (against that prince from Eval and our own damn brother). I'd rather not wind up stuck with a mostly useless 'The Duelist' sort of title.
