Apparently, the Duchy of Tirine is burning down with flames of pillagery by now. Daric III's soldiers abandoned their vassal, to go with their King's plan and strike into heart of the Khanate. The plan succeeded, and many important of Khan's generals were captured or slain in mighty battle which saw 25 thousand peoples duke it out.
1141 AD, Midsummer
Daric III has died! During some random, minor skirmish, some unknown nomad archer shot him in the face.
Daric's only son and child, Ivin, has taken on the name Elran IV. People acclaim the youth as a genius in both military tactics and matters of lore and law, and it's widely known that he has strength and health of an ox, but there are rumors he is a coward that's scared of combat, especially duels and such.
1141 AD, Late Summer
An envoy from Elran IV has arrived.
"Greetings, Emperor Cyl!" The bearded man bows respectfully. "My master, King Elran IV, wishes to acquire assistance against those barbarian nomads from your powerful Army. He is willing to pay five years of tribute if your Army joins him and his soldiers in defense of Eldrican Kingdom." You can't help but notice that both Leath and Houlandin, present in the hall, are glancing in your direction.
A) "I will not help murderers and kinslayers!" About time we publish
those documents, right??
B) "Sorry, not interested."
C) "Make it ten years."
D) "We stand united against the threat of barbaric hordes. My soldiers will assist Elran IV at once!"
E) "Make it fifteen years!"
