Meanwhile, refugees slowly make their way towards inner parts of the Empire, as the disease outbreaks have been dealt with and now medics have enough essences and medicine to properly treat new arrivals. It make take years before the Parsians settle down, but that's only more subjects for you.
Few days later, there's more family drama for you to muddle through.
It seems that Leath has decided that local ale and Alldivine prayers are not exciting enough, and has delved into Parsian mysticism and some highly intoxicating powders.
The courtiers murmur, having found him drooling and giggling in one of the guest bedrooms, without his pants and without his dignity. His wife isn't in better shape, but rather than having a euphoric fit she just sits in the corner, reaching toward the window and chanting some Parsian words as if she was being visited by one of Eleven.
Nobles say that Abis might be having bad influences on your son and heir, and some murmur that it was Parsian plan all along. Few shake their heads and say that no matter the influence, a weak-willed man will always fall for trappings of strange and exotic.
Still, you need to make a decision about this little mess.
A) Abis is an saboteur and a spy for her father! Divorce is a necessity; we should find Leath a better wife somewhere else.
B) Leath's weakness shows that he is unfit to rule! Let's make Ustwelf the heir to throne of Methiant instead.
C) We have alcohol, the Parsians have powders, that's all. Everyone needs to relax sometimes!
D) Time to smack up Leath a little bit, because it seems he is forgetting that he is the heir of the Empire, and with that comes responsibility and certain etiquette to follow.
E) Time to lecture Abis about how damaging her Parsian practices are to her family, and remind her that she is in Methiant, not Parsia, and thus should finally become a true Methiantese.
F) Better clear your throat with some herbal water, because there will be a long, loud and very angry lecture for both of them when they get sober.
