There's a pretty badass martial guy out there looking for revenge. I hope we beefed up palace security, or the raven might still have the last laugh.

It is a misconception that Alldivinism denies that gods or godlike beings exist and have power. Rather, its followers examine, and where necessary supplant, the superstitious practices and myths of folk religion in order to discover and disseminate a rational and unified knowledge of the true nature of divinity and a practical ethic of behavior in day-to-day life. We could argue that Ustwelf desires to give up the search for deep truths in favor of easy rituals.

I'm a little curious though. It wasn't so long ago that the Alldivines were asking Yoe II to convert officially and bring the country with him; it was never confirmed but I thought from context that the Duedes had a Pantheonist heritage. I wonder where Cyl picked up the new faith? (Possibly his mother, Alldivinism seems to be stronger in the east?)

His dad died while partaking in what was basically a pantheonist ritual, plunging the nation into civil war. That might be enough to cause him to seek a new faith. On that note, C.

Unfortunately that does have some repercussions. Once agian, nobility and officials state their dipleasure with what they call 'a scandal', and of course the Alldivinist front doesn't think of it well either. You can be sure people are displeased and don't think of you well as an Emperor for letting your children to stray from the faith of your grandfather.

1135 AD, Late Winter

According to news from the north, the battlefront has been quiet for past weeks except for few very minor skirmishes.

As the days pass, you cannot help but admit that you see this young maid Siria in different light. You find her long brown hair simply lovely, and her sparkly green eyes like emeralds. Every time she brings you food, you feel certain dose of excitement. Every time you talk with her, she seems elated to be near you. Your wife has recently died yet your heart and body aches for a companionship of a woman, it seems.

And from what you've heard from some of the kitchen matrons, Siria apparently talks about no one but you when it comes to men.

A) My heart underestimates my willpower. Infatuation will pass!
B) This will only bring bad luck. I have to dismiss Siria right away.
C) My sons are adult and my dynasty secure. I can do what my heart desires!
