There are many edicts which look appealing such as Religious Equality, Codex of Training Regimen, and the Council of Statesmen. I feel like keeping our technological advantage high with the Fireblood Court is both the popular decision right now and a good investment for the future though. We'll get a chance to pass the other edicts which interest us later.

Your courtiers inform you that because there's no local supply of Fireblood ingredients, the Court will have require higher expenses, which are currently easily covered by the yearly household tax.

As your Authority is strongest as it is, there will be no delays nor anything bad occuring due to your decision.

Next you have to discuss the attempted assassination by son of Duke of Eval, Targald. You decide to...

A) Demand a huge compensation in return for your forgiveness.
B) Invade the Duchy of Eval to punish the land, the peoples, and their foolish leaders.
C) Send a letter, asking Duke of Eval for a formal apology.

Actually, can we... Wait for a response from King Dangarm? I mean, I know we rolled an 1 with the envoy, but he doesn't have the authority to make the decision either way, maybe just color the kings initial thoughts on it.

I feel like I'd be willing to go to war to fold both of them into the empire, but if Dangarm wouldn't be up for it, demanding a huge compensation might be good enough.
