A running theme of this game seems to be that the populace are utter pieces of shit at all times, I suppose.

Wtf. How. Is that even possible? For a group of army officers to revolt over the tactical planning stage of combat? Not because it's badly done, but because they don't like doing it all? This boggles the mind, these guys shouldn't be officers in the army, they should be in some special padded room.
