Fortunately, no one else bothers you and through the Koi you arrive in Eldrican six days later.
1130 AD, Late Summer
You offer your prayers to the grandiose tomb of Elran III. It is obvious that Daric III was generous to the masons and artisans, as the marble-and-silver sarcophagus laying in a small 'chamber' of tall columns is truly breath-taking.
After that, Daric III shows his generosity as a host and launches a great feast for you, your family and your courtiers.
Very quickly you notice that your son Ustwelf seems to have 'glued' himself to a certain blonde maiden on Daric's side of the table, who seems to be around Ustwelf's age. A quick inquiry with one of Daric's advisors and you learn her identity - it is Deanna, Daric's niece. Her family got into a mess with some unscrupulous shady characters, and that resulted in a blaze that consumed her family house and all her relatives few years ago; since then she was living in the royal palace. She herself is fifteen and is known to have a polite character and aptitude for poetry.
Once the festivities go into their fourth hour, you decide to speak with Daric III on politics, and he is eager to contribute.
"My eastern friend," he begins, "I'm afraid to say that my merchants and my Treasurer aren't quite happy with the money they're making from this trade deal of ketton cloth we send to your Kingdom. I'm afraid that I will have to cancel this agreement."
You decide to...
A) Nod in agreement.
B) Try to negotiate better prices for Eldrican merchants.
C) Mention that King Shapur of Kashites in the east have shown interest in this cloth a while ago.
