Speaking of ketton cloth, there are few trade envoys from the Kashites.

"Greetings, King Cyl! Our newest master, King Shapur V, has heard that your traders have access to this sturdy ye soft and warm cloth, what is the word for it, 'ketton'? Shapur has been long since looking for new fabric to sew into our soldiers' uniforms, and this cloth could be just what he needs. Can we ask that you give us a load of this fabric to take with us, so that King Shapur himself might determine if its worth his notice?"

You mention to them that this year's caravan has already arrived and the cloth has been sold. That doesn't quell their enthusiasm.

"Next year, perhaps?" You decide to...

A) Send the next year caravan of cloth to the Kashite Kingdom.
B) Demand discussion on monetary reward first.
C) Deny the Kashites and King Shapur the fabled ketton cloth.

I'm pretty sure the cloth helps our happiness score, which will likely need all the help it can get after nomnomnoming another kingdom. I'd rather not part with it unless the payment is very good.

Also, there is a very real chance we just decide to invade the Kashites at a later date.

The cloth has never yet helped our happiness score. Results are 1to3) we don't lose money, or 4to6) we gain one money. We haven't seen a hypothetical 7 from being Lucky. Even if they only pay one/year we come out ahead over time.

1127 AD, Winter

Scandal in the court! What has first happened as a rumor now is believed a truth by the majority of your ocurtiers.

Apparently, some maid or other servant saw your beloved wife, Esta of Eldrican, with some young and dashing man at least twice during your last year's absences, feeling rather happy and joyful around the young man, positively identified as Aóndach of Aónwalf, a small hamlet that once laid at the border with Donuth. Since then, she has been seen in company of few other young men, enjoying poetry and literature with them, each vying for as little as a stare to soothe their hearts.

Courtiers believe Esta has cheated upon you, while your wife, in tears, swears that she has done nothing wrong and has no better proof to give than the fact she has been faithful to you and gave you many children.

Your courtiers urge you to give your judgement on this scandalous affair while your wife weeps her eyes out at this shameless accusation of your courtiers. Ultimately, you turn to your wife and say:

A) "Everybody knows that you love me baby, that you've been faithful."
B) "Everybody knows there were so many people you just had to meet... without your clothes!"

Though in the afternoon, you give the whole scandal a second thought.

B) Maybe I should have someone dig up around Esta's activities.
C) Maybe some snooping around my courtiers is required.
