They arrive just in time as the cavalry rides forward toward the positions of your troops! Your sodliers now have advantege of numbers.

You bark orders from afar and soldiers rally against the foe!

The initial charge of enemy cavalry slams through your battlelines! Many a Methiant soldier perishes under the hooves of the Ceodwell horsemen! The battle lines quickly become a swamp of melee, too close and too densely packed for your Fireblood engines to strike without decimating your soldiers also.

Why is this happening!? Your soldiers, instead of pushing back the foe, flee away from the eastern cavalry! This is the worst offense to the honor of the kingdom! The numerical advantage your troops had melts down very fast, and the frontline is on verge of collapse!

Some soldiers stopped to listen, but soon they also joined the numerous other that were 'withdrawing tactically' from the melee in large numbers. In fact, you think that you speech moved even more of them to abandon their lines!

A Well good to know that our men our cowardly enough to run away from an army half their size. That brings me so much confidence in the army we've invested so heavily in. *Sigh* Let's just regroup and try again. Also perhaps we should have a talk with the Marshal about discipline next time we meet. I mean we do pay a Professional Army a lot of money for a reason

I'm thinking the prophecy was a lie. Else we either misunderstood it entirely or it only applied to Zasitost, which we conquered in pretty short order and we've gotten as much from it as we're getting.
