I take it from the low supplies that we no longer get a Fireblood bonus on our rolls.
I'm slightly hopeful that having taken out so many oliphaunts means they don't get that bonus against us.
But Gubta still badly outnumbers us. The only way moving forward wins is if Gubta decides not to continue.
If we only fight Ceodwells, we have decent odds plus a prophecy. If Gubtas are also there, it will need a heck of a roll.

Last time the vote tilted all or nothing, we ended up with the nothing – literally. Once bitten, twice shy.
Facing unrest at home. We may need those soldiers back in the heartlands; nothing like winning the war only to lose the throne.

"Look to the east . . . " I am looking, and it's not as rosy as the talking bird made it sound.
I've never been a Pantheonist, personally liked the Alldivines. Still I can't deny there are powers at work.
But is this the east of which the raven spoke in the first place? Should Cyl have gone personally, was it a promise specific to him?

My fear is that, even with a victory for the moment, the Gubta will still hold a grudge. Maybe not, but in planning anticipate the worst.
Without Fireblood we have no hope of matching them in the field; nor do we have any bribery material to spare.
Whereas settling with Ceodwell would keep a buffer territory between us.
If we were offered terms it would be a no-brainer, to me. We're desperate to rebuild. But asking? That prick Calahan? Ugh.

There seems to be a pattern. We alternate fights between Ceodwells and Gubtas.
One more fight could put the Ceodwells down for good. C
But if we don't get this right now we'll boast about zero army to go along with our lack of money and happiness.

The Army is rebelling!

Your palace is in state of terror as your despicable courtiers began to pack up and leave as the Army commanders in the east, exhausted and tired of this meat-grinder war, have decided that they had enough of your overly ambitious plans for the east!

Instead of going with your plans, they've reversed their course and are now marching straight toward the capital. Their demands are that you settle for peace with the Ceodwells on any terms. If you comply, they will let you stay on the throne. Otherwise, they will find someone else who won't endanger the Kingdom in exchange for some territorial gains.

The Spymaster's agents report that there's two thousand soldiers marching for the capital. Were the remainder killed or otherwise gotten rid off, they're not sure. The rebellious mob does have the Fireblood and artillery with them.

For comparison, the garrison of the capital city is about a thousand and the palace's Captain of the Guard reports hundred fifty men at ready.

You proclaim that...

A) You will concede to their demands and seek peace with the Calahan III of Ceodwell.
B) You will execute every one of the traitors the moment they get into your hands!

If you bow down to their demands now, they'll know that they can do this at any time. They'll effectively own the country, and that'll be the end.

An army rebellion is very serious, and needs to be squashed right away.

I'm terribly torn.

On the one hand, I want to execute them because A) they deserve it, B) we definitely could (only 2:1 manpower for sieging their own capital? Good luck), and C) they deserve it, but on the other hand, now might not be the best time.

tbh if we can't shock and awe them into submission and then refold them into a working army we're going to get the worst end anyway.
