How fun is SPAMKINGDOM series?

Mind-bogglingly popular game series that you follow from early on and cannot stop, waiting for new installment like a drooling addict.
Long-runner soap opera you're too invested into to just stop watching it.
A fun little comic strip in the daily newspaper that's been around forever.
3/6
Who said it's fun? I didn't for sure.
I'm just waiting here for it to die horribly already so it will stop showing on my Unread Posts list.

B

If the dwarves want to whine, they can send a delegation to discuss the matter. I would have rather paid them off, seeing as we now functionally own their fort, but I am content. For now, let there be peace, for war waits just beyond the horizon.

Also. Bro-fist to Dogethe. That lady is made of iron.

Let's show them that turtling doesn't work when your enemy has cannons!

I have no idea what our army number looks like right now . . . B. Tell the generals to devise counter tactics against oliphaunts. It appears the prophecy applies to Ceodwell: we roll nothing but sixes and sevens against them but lost terribly to more southerly Gubta. Let's regroup now, hold out next summer until the Gubta retire from the front, and then make a "winter" campaign. (Of course pressing now has its advantages assuming the prophecy continues to work.) If we can win all or most of Ceodwell the mercenary Gubta should have little motive to continue.

On the other front, the big problem is that Zasitost is the only dwarven land to our east. Ankurvat and Zonalath are both in the west – if we give the prophecy any credit at all then we daren't take a step toward them. The only "solution" I can see is if our friends and in-laws in Eldrican, the only nation not known to be worn out by recent wars, were to intervene on our behalf. And that will likely cost us just as much to arrange as a settlement. ((When the earth peoples were ready to pay us if we had let them keep some pride, grumble.))

You decide to field your Army further and give order to march deeper into Ceodwell.

1117 AD, Midwinter

Silver is sent to the Treasury, while gemstones go east to the Eldrican.

Few days later you receive a report from the Army!

Quote
4*

Your soldiers ran smack into almost a ten thousand strong force of Gubta that was marching from behind Calahan's seat. The mighty battle was won msotly thanks to power of Fireblood, and the Gubta lost almost a third of their forces before they retreated. Your soldiers lost a quarter, before the Ceodwells moved in from the northeast, engaging your men few days after the battle against the Gubta!

Quote
3*

While the Ceodwells numbered only three thousand, they still managed to rout your men after inflicting almost a thousand of casualties. Your Army, harassed by the Ceodwell soldiers, retreated north and west, to lands near the border keeps. Still, numerically speaking, Methiant dealt much more damage to Gubta and Ceodwells than other way around.

1117 AD, Late Winter

Terrible news from the north! The dwarves of Zonalath have not only broken the encirclement of the mountains, they also managed to bribe Queen Dogethe to withdraw from the conflict!

As far as rumors go, the Queen was feeling super guilty about this, having to sacrifice the alliance for her people's wellbeing, but who can believe the feelings of such a female viper like her now??

The governors of the cities in northeast beg for assistance as two armies of heavily armed dwarves (for a total of three thousand footsoldiers) is marching through the lands, wreaking havoc.

Your court begins to panic again and in many the burning hatred for Queen Dogethe of Cydwyl grows every second.

As for the dwarven menace...

A) Fine, I will give them the money they want.
B) Our Army from Ceodwell must now go to fight the dwarves!

As for Queen Dogethe's most despicable act of utter betrayal...

A) It's understandable really, even if it was a dickish move right now.
B) She has abandoned us in the time of need! We do not forget - nor forgive!

We will lose a lot of cash to the dwarves, but lets not get her fresh and ready and well funded army a reason to invade us.

BA it is not to be borne. The dwarves shall not get away with this bullying, no matter the cost. As for the queen, she had better pay us back later in some way.

Seems I was two minutes early with my read of the situation.

And Dogethe managed what we asked of her for as long as could be expected. I for one am neither surprised nor angry.

She risked much just to hold them back. Death to the courtiers who whisper otherwise! But, as for everything else, we'll see.

Not going to vote on this one.

BB Honor and blood is how we have ruled and honor and blood neither forget nor forgive. Our men and word stayed true in her time of need. When she called on us to support her our men guarded her lands. She gave our enemies free pass into ours. Holding them back does not make up for this cowardly action.
