Three groups of people want to meet with you. The first is a group of rather annoyed dwarves, the other is a group of very sad merchants, and the third is the Spymaster with few of his agents.

A) Spymaster!
B) Dwarves!
C) Merchants!

C) These are the returning mountain expedition, and sad faces are not good news.

You decide to meet with dwarves first.

"King Cyl!" The leader of the group shouts almost from the very door of the throne room. "Despite your promises that your peoples wouldn't loot, we have catalogued sixteen crimes of looting by Methiant subjects! This is an outrage! Or do you not control your subjects at all??" The angry, bald dwarf presents you a ledger. The pages are full of dwarven script on the left-hand pages, and human script, what you assume a translation, on the right-hand pages. It details various individuals being seized and in possession of 'missing' dwarven crafts from Zasitost. The dates in the ledger go as far as Summer 1116.

"Compensate us for thievery of your men!" The dwarves cry in unison.

A) Toss money at them so they shut up.
B) Tell them to shut up or else.
C) Attempt a diplomatic solution.

Hey, we made an attempt, and it's only fair to give reparations.

A. And apologize profusely, saying that we will have guards look into it.

They already arrested or "seized" them right? If our peasants are going and getting arrested in dwarven lands for doing dwarven crimes, I don't see how that's any issue for us. Let them face dwarven "justice".

Edit: Also I'd like to point that that consistantly, when dwarves come to our lands in these games, they are little shits. Constantly. And not once have we gone to their lands and asked for them to try to control the dwarves that are in our lands. We deal with them when they are on our lands in our ways. And the dwarves should do the same to our subjects.
