Actually from what I remember she's only going to pay us latter once she's stabilized Cylwyl so we can't count on the money for a while. That and we have no idea how long this invasion might go on for even if she was going to pay us right after the invasion which she isn't.

Missed the earlier vote, but if I may opine: frankly we don't need or want (or can afford) to sponsor a revolution. Queen Dogethe specifically stationed the Methiant forces as a home guard while she fights on the lines. So if anything happens to her out there in the middle of a surprise war overshadowed by volcanic eruption in a time of supernatural terror, why, we'll be the de facto power in Cydwyl without firing an arrow.
